OUR VISION

PEACE & HARMONY THROUGH EXCHANGE OF
PEOPLE, CULTURE, MUSIC AND ARTS

Mahatma Gandhi suggested that if an oppressive society lacks violence, the society is nonetheless not peaceful, because of the injustice of the oppression. Gandhi articulated a vision of peace in which justice is an inherent and necessary aspect; that peace requires not only the absence of violence but also the presence of justice. This peace is described as peace with justice, as "positive peace," because hostility and further violence can’t flourish in this environment.

Cultural exchange, dialogue and heart to heart connection between people are the key to gradually dilute the misunderstandings and fears between all the countries, especially Pakistan & India. Music, rhythm and arts touch hearts beyond borders. We understand the importance of cultural heritage and connections between the people to build sustained and lasting peace. Cultural and political CBMs can help to promote stability and inspire confidence in the established governments. Cultural CBMs aim to demonstrate sensitivity to local cultures and show respect for traditional authorities, allowing them some role in local affairs, and demonstrating respect for local practices.
